Why are marketers switching to phone broadcasting
56More and more marketers are now turning to phone broadcasting or voice broadcasting. Today, a typical phone broadcasting application is web based, and the system can be learned and implemented within just a few hours. It can place thousands of targeted calls within a short time, and may be the fastest way for a beginner to experience great marketing results.
How has this technology become so effective? First, let's go back to the late 1990's: Email broadcasting became popular and relatively effective. Given that the email list was targeted, and that the members of the list had agreed to receive emails, the results could be very impressive if the product was presented well.
However, the next few years it became increasingly difficult for emails to come through to the recipients' inboxes: Almost anything became to be perceived as "s-p-a-m" by the filtering systems of the Internet Service Providers. Many of us began to experience that even a normal one-time email would not get through to a friend. Needless to say, for this and other reasons, the effect of normal email marketing decreased very much since the days of the late 1990's: As of 2008, out of all the emails, not many are delivered and even fewer are read.
Voice broadcasting or phone broadcasting has emerged as a very effective alternative to email marketing. The main reason is that most people are paying much better attention to their phone and voice mail than to emails in their many email accounts. And this means that a high number of the messages are being listened to.
Web based systems for phone broadcasting can deliver thousands of voice messages to live persons and/or to answering machines in a very short time. Professionals from any industry are utilizing phone broadcasting to reach new or existing contacts. MLM distributors are using them. Members of other home based ventures have found that phone broadcasting might be the fastest way to attract a high number of interested prospects, relatively inexpensivevely.
Regarding the cash required to get started with phone broadcasting, up until very recently there was a considerable amount initially. Knute Berget, an Internet marketer over the last ten years, has found that one company used to charge $2,000, and the price of another one was $1,300 in order to get started. Recently, the company Ibuzzpro has gotten a lot of attention with their system and their initial amount of about $500.
Now there is a new player that charges only about $100 initially, and the name is the Phone Broadcast Club. And they charge 1.8 cent for a 30 second call. Basically, what this means is that a whole new group of people will be joining the voice broadcast wave.
